Smoothies

Smoothies are a yummy, healthy option any time of the day. They can be full of fruit, oatmeal, chocolate, or even a combination of the three. The possibilities are endless, yet still healthy.

Green Machine Smoothie

This smoothie is full of all around goodness for your body. This is a great way to get fruits and vegetables into your daily diet. If you don't like vegetables, don't worry, you can't even taste them in this.

 

Ingredients

8 oz Water or Coconut Water

2 -3 Handfuls of Spinach or Kale

1 Cup Pineapple

1 Banana (optional)

1/2 Juice of Lemon

1 Tablespoon of Protein Powder/Cocoa/Matcha (optional).

 

Directions

Put the spinach or kale at the bottom of the blender with the water. Roughly blend the two together, then add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. Enjoy any time of the day. 

Blueberry Mango Smoothie

This smoothie makes an amazing and quick breakfast. Blueberries are wonderful for the complexion and are also give you lots of energy for the day.

 

Ingredients

1 Cup of Frozen Blueberries

1 Cup of Frozen Mango

1 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt

1/4 Cup Almond Milk, Coconut Milk, or Water

 

Directions

Roughly blend the frozen fruit with the Almond Milk, then add the yogurt and continue to blend until smooth. Enjoy at breakfast for energy throughout the day.

Chocolate Skinny Smoothie

 

Unless you don't like chocolate, you probably crave chocolate sometimes. People often times contribute chocolate as being unhealthy, but that's not entirely true. This smoothie utilizes chocolate in a way that is delicious and healthy.

 

Ingredients

1 Cup Almond Milk or Coconut Milk

2 Tablespoons Almond Butter or Peanut Butter

2 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

1/2 or 1 Banana (Your preference)

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Ice (Personal preference for how much)

 

Directions

Combine all ingredients together and blend until smooth. Garnish with chocolate if needed. Enjoy any time you have a chocolate sweet tooth.

 

Peach Cobbler Smoothie

Dessert. Everyone loves it, but sometimes they're just so high in calories. What better (and healthier) way than to make it into a smoothie?

 

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Old Fashioned Oats

1 1/2 Cups Frozen Peaches

1 Cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt

1/2 Cup Almond Milk

1 Tablespoon Honey (optional)

1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon

 

Directions

Firstly, blend the oats in the blender until a powder. Add the rest of the ingredients until smooth. Enjoy as a dessert, or at any time of the day.
