Masks and Scrubs
Making your own masks and scrubs is a great, and inexpensive way to rejuvinate your skin. Using items from your kitchen can give your skin the same results as going to a spa.
Honey Cinnamon Nutmeg Face Mask
A natural mask that helps brighten the skin, even the skin tone, clears breakouts, and lightens scars.
Ingredients
2 Tablespoon Honey
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Nutmeg
Directions
Mix honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg togehter to form a paste. Apply on to the skin of your face evenly and leave for 30 minutes. Rinse well. Apply toner afterwards if desired. Repeat once a week for maximum results.
Brighten and Tighten Face Mask
A citrus-y mask to help tighten the skin, brighten, and even skin tone.
Ingredients
1/2 A lemon - Juice Only
1 Table spoons of Honey
Directions
Mix lemon juice with honey well. The consistency will not be paste like, but it won't be liquid. Apply all over face and keep on for 30 minutes to an hour. Rinse well. The honey will be sticky if you do not get it off of your face. Be careful around the hair line. Repeat once a week for maximum results.
Anti Cellulite Body Scrub
Scrub full of caffeine to help stimulate the skin and prevent cellulite or stretch marks.
Ingreditents
1 Tablespoon of Brewed Coffee Grounds
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil
Directions
Mix coffe, salt, and coconut oil together and rub all over the body while in the shower. Focus on the leg and stomach area where cellulite could be.
Warning: There will be coffee all over the shower. Keep in mind. On the plus side, you will smell like fresh coffee after your shower.
Sea Salt Scrub
Scrub to get silky smooth, radient skin.
Ingredients
1 Tablespoon Sea Salt
1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
Few Drops of Desired Essential Oils
Directions
Mix together the sea salt and coconut oil. Add in a few drops of essential oil. I prefer lavender. Rub all over body in the shower to get silky smooth skin. Wash the scrub off well.
